Coconut Banana Berry Paleo Smoothie

After explaining what we eat, one of the first things people ask me about Paleo is “what do you drink”? My answer: water.

But we also drink tea, coffee, kombucha and when Jeff wants a little bubbly he’ll open a bottle of perrier. And when none of that can satisfy my thirst, no I don’t turn to blood ;)…I tend to make something like this Coconut Banana Berry Paleo Smoothie.

The banana and blueberries add enough sweet to the mix, the bananas also add to making it smooth and the three varieties of coconut give it that extra kick of flavor and healthy fat. I may have indulged in more than a generous shaking of a tablespoon but that’s a good starting point for ya on the cinnamon.

When I’m craving something sweet or need a quick meal to take on the go, a delicious Paleo green smoothie always works out great. Use fruit as your sweetener but make your smoothie mostly veggies and you’ve got a great combination.
