Cucumbers are technically a fruit, but they are commonly consumed as a vegetable. As far as plants go, cucumbers have a moderate amount of carbohydrates, but significant amounts of calcium, magnesium, and potassium. All of these nutrients are necessary for supporting our immune system and maintaining a healthy body, so cucumbers can (and should) be included in that lifestyle.
