Add some flavor to grilled meats or liven up a vegetable platter with this refreshing sauce.

This recipe requires only a few ingredients and takes hardly any time at all to make. Just throw everything in the food processor and let your appliance do all the work.

Paleo Tzatziki SaucePaleo Tzatziki Sauce

What is Tzatziki?

Tzatziki is a classic Greek sauce that is generally served with grilled meats or as a dip.

The traditional recipe is made with yogurt and cucumbers, but I’ve decided to forgo the yogurt in order to make a truly Paleo-friendly condiment.

Also, instead of cucumbers, I used zucchini because I had a huge zucchini that I brought home from the farmers market…and no cucumbers in sight.

Paleo Tzatziki Sauce

This sauce goes great with both meats and veggies, so feel free to pour it on top of grilled or roasted meat, toss it in a salad and use for a dressing, or even include it in a stir-fry. Let your imagination run wild.

Once you have some available, you’ll find plenty of ways to use it.

Paleo Tzatziki Sauce

Paleo Tzatziki Sauce

Yield: 1 cup

Ingredients

  • 1 zucchini, chunked
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • pinch sea salt

Directions

  1. Add zucchini and garlic to a food processor and process for 3-5 seconds, or pretty much until the blade stops choppin.
  2. Scrape veggies down the sides. Pour in olive oil, lemon juice and add a pinch of sea salt. Process until smooth.
  3. Serve drizzled over any ground or sliced meat dish or as a dipping sauce for veggies!
  4. Enjoy! :)
