Is Broccoli Paleo?

Your mother probably scolded you into eating your broccoli when you were growing up by saying it was good for you. Well, she was right, and you should still eat your broccoli. It’s extremely high in vitamins C and K, with a fair amount of minerals, including manganese and phosphorus.

The Benefits of Sulfur

As a member of the cabbage family, broccoli is also loaded with sulfur. Sulfur doesn’t get much attention in the media, but it’s a vital nutrient that we need for all aspects of our health, including lowering inflammation. Broccoli may also have some anti-cancer properties, but boiling it significantly reduces those properties. For the biggest nutritional punch, just lightly steam or stir-fry your broccoli, or eat it raw in your salad.
